I'm Jody Tucker - a Minnesota REALTOR, homestaging professional, musician, longtime Duluth-area resident, and someone who has always been drawn to the meaning of home.
Whether I'm helping someone prepare a property for market, searching for the right place to begin a new chapter, or guiding a family through a major transition, my approach is personal, thoughtful, and grounded in honest communication.
I'm passionate about helping people find more than a house - I help them find a place where they can build the life they've been dreaming of.
Before real estate, I spent nearly two decades as a music therapist and private-practice owner.
That work taught me how to listen deeply, communicate clearly, and create a plan around each person's needs.
In 2019, I brought those same skills into real estate and joined Messina & Associates. Although the profession changed, the heart of my work remained the same: helping people navigate meaningful life transitions with clarity, care, and confidence.
Real estate brings together so many things I value - people, homes, creativity, problem-solving, communication, and the opportunity to make a complicated process feel more manageable.
Before real estate, I spent nearly two decades as a music therapist and private-practice owner. That work taught me how to listen deeply, communicate clearly, and create a plan around each person's needs.
I have always been creative. I'm a musician. a do-it-youself enthusiast, a gardener, a home renovator, and now along with being a Realtor, I am certified in home staging as well.
I understand how thoughtful preparation, styling, photography, and presentation can influence the way buyers experience a property. I also understand that a home doesn't need to be perfect to be meaningful - or marketable.
My staging background allows me to help sellers look at their homes through a buyer's eyes while still respecting the character, budget, and practical realities of each property.
For buyers, that same creative perspective helps me see possibilities: how a room might function differently, where value may be hidden, and whether a home has the potential to support the life they are hoping to build.
As a certified home staging professional, musician, and DIY enthusiast, I know how thoughtful preparation and presentation help homes stand out - and how to help buyers see the potential in a space.

I love the character of Northern Minnesota and help clients explore Duluth and surrounding communities to find the right fit for their lifestyle and goals.
I love the character of Northern Minnesota and help clients explore Duluth and surrounding communities to find the right fit for their lifestyle and goals.
My work regularly takes me throughout Duluth, Hermantown, Proctor, Cloquet, Esko, Rice Lake, Two Harbors, Knife River, and nearby Northland communities.
Every area offers something different. My role is not to decide which location is "best", but to help clients compare housing, amenities, access, property characteristics, and market conditions so they can make an informed decision based on their own priorities.
